How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Frisco or Dallas?
Most run $8,000 (less for a half bath) to $75,000 or more. A same layout refresh is about $8,000 to $18,000, a tub to shower conversion about $10,000 to $30,000, a new tiled walk in shower about $8,000 to $25,000, and a full primary bath gut $35,000 and up. How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Most bathroom remodels run 3 to 6 weeks depending on scope. A full gut with a layout change or a walk in shower conversion runs longer than a fixture and finish refresh.
Do I need a permit to remodel a bathroom?
Usually, if the job touches plumbing or electrical, which most bathroom remodels do. The Teddy team pulls and manages permits so you don't have to.
What's involved in a tub to shower conversion?
Demo of the existing tub, new plumbing rough in if the drain location changes, waterproofing, and a new shower pan, walls, and glass or curtain. It's one of our most requested smaller jobs.
Can you remodel a bathroom in an older University Park or Dallas home?
Yes. Older homes often have plaster walls, cast iron drains and mortar bed tile. Eddy has been remodeling homes for over 40 years, and we plan for all of it before demo, not in the middle of the job.
